How long does it really take....

I know that most of the dress places say that it will take up to 6 months for your dress to come in. For those of you that already got your dresses, how long did it REALLY take??

Bought it in Aug it came in early Nov

mine took more than 6 months. Don't even get me started...I didn't get my dress until 5 weeks before my wedding.

first i wanna say that i am a future mrs. B too i ordered my dress at like the end of may, beging of june and they are telling me it will be here end of december for my march wedding
i hope its here and ready in time

11 weeks. RK Bridal always get their dreses in 3 months. That seems to be their policy.

MIne took about 8 months...the salon said it could be up to 10 months.

I got my gown at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. My gown was by Alvina Valenta which had a long lead time. I don't think it would have been much different if I ordered the dress someplace else.

I ordered mine in April and it came in last week. 7 months.

Well I have 9 months so I should be fine. They told me that it will take up to 6 months. Hopefully they are right!

Yea they told be 6-9 months actually.... but then again I have a year and a half so they prob put a rush on weddings that are closer.

Im kinda nervous because once the dress comes in it wont have to be altered for a WHILE because my wedding is so far... did anyone else order there dress really early???

I have not ordered a dress but am told 12 - 16 weeks is average - unless it's a custom/special order dress. I think the lady at gownfind.com told me this.

I was told 6 months and it came in 3 months. I just ordered it this August and it came in this past weekend! I couldn't believe what little time. My wedding isn't until July!
