How long does it take for someone to install windows?
We are having some of the windows replaced. This includes like 12 big windows in the den and 4 other medium sized windows. How many days do you think it will take?

Depends on who you have doing them and how many people they have to work on the installation. We had several windows replaced on our house back in April and it took the guy and his helper 1 day to rip out the old ones, install the new ones, and a second day to come back and finish up the interior window sills and molding and the outside shingles he had to tear down to remove the windows.
If they are just exact replacements, meaning your not making a bigger window or such, it shouldn't be a huge thing. Maybe 2 or 3 days, the most!
ETA: the person who installed our windows did just that. We had to paint them once they were in.

This past spring I hade 29 windows replaced in 2 days. (And what a difference in my heating bills this winter!!! )

In about 3 days I had 9 replacement windows installed, 1 - 3 panel casement, 1 - 4 panel casement, and 1 - 5 panel bow window and two doors installed using a contractor who had about 3 people or so working on it. With the casements windows they had to make the walls smaller or bigger to accomodate the new size window. The doors also had to be re-framed. So I think that was pretty quick.
