Depending where you go most places will either do it on the spot or have it within a day or two. Call in advance and find out how long they take.

Ours took about 20 minutes, and that was because I made them do mine over again. It was my first official bridezilla moment! But the bottom of my 'E' went off the band, so it looked like an 'F'!
I'm sorry, but I'll be wearing this ring for the rest of my life, and I'll be da****ed if it will have the wrong initials on it!!!

As long as your bands are metals that are easily engraved by any jeweler I don't think it should take long....FH's is tungsten, so it had to go someplace special!
