How long does it take to order & receive YOUR invitates?
How long before you place your order...it arrives..? How many weeks?
I know I should be ashamed of myself, but I have been so busy that I have not yet had time to pick up the big invitation wedding catalogs.

It depends on the manufacturer and who you order them from but this is the timeline we have:
ordered the invites. Takes 7-10 days to get the proof back. Once we approve the proof, it takes 2-3 weeks to get the invites. The whole process should not take more than a month or 5 weeks but that also depends on whether you get a proof or not.

Party city took about a week. No proof, and Birchcraft messed up mine but I got them corrected in two days.

No need to be ashamed! You still have time. I ordered mine from Lion in the Sun. It was a week for the proof, than about 2 weeks for the invites, about a week for printing the envelopes.

We ordered our invitations in January, and had them 9 days later. It's relatively quick.

We ordered our invites from Jodi from Simplicity Planning and a week and a half later we had them.

I would order invitest ASAP. I know your wedding is in July, but the quicker you do it the sooner you will have them!

I ordered my invites from Rebecca at Favorite Things on Saturday, Jan 10th (the order went in on Monday, the 12th) and picked them up from her on Jan 20th (no proof).

I ordered and received them about 2 1/2 weeks later.. it was fast i was surprized too!

We got our proof in one day, then made some changes, got the new proof two days later and we're waiting for the invites (should be in the end of this week or beginning of next week). They have to make plates for the printing so it takes a little longer. All total, about two weeks.
