We are having our ceremony at the reception hall. I started contacting churches to inquire about the process/cost of an officiant from the church marrying us at the reception hall and they said that the ceremony usually lasts an hour. The dilemma is that the ceremony is scheduled at the reception hall for only 30 minutes. How long does the ceremony usually last?

In my experience, a full mass lasts an hour, ceremony only 1/2 hour.

its usually 1/2 hour. Ive even seen less.

You girls are So lucky...my wedding is 2 weeks long. The actual ceremony will be 3 hours....ugh huh

At most RH it is only 30 mins max.

Mine was a half hour and that includes bridal party entering and exiting. I'm sure if you go over a little bit (not a lot though) the RH won't come in and stop the whole thing.
