So im using patken and getting a little fustrated. my wedding was 9/6/09 and i still dont have my proofs!! I called on 9/24/09 and was told 7-10 days and it is now 20 days... arg thats double the time i was told and no one has even called .... did anyone else have this problem is this normal?
I am being told 8 weeks until I get my proofs.
i was told 2 weeks with patken for the physical proofs-6 months for the disk-i had them put it in my contract
My contract said right on it proof within 3 weeks. I got the last of my proofs last night I think? But I'm not sure... I didn't want to complain though because I'd rather have quality proofs rather than rushed ones.
I was told I would not get my proofs until at least Thanksgiving! We are so excited to see them!

Ours took almost one month. I'm sure it will be well worth the wait once you get them. All of our pictures were beautifully touched up and edited so we got some black and whites and things like that. You don't want to rush that process but hopefully they'll be ready soon!
My wedding was in July. I don't have them yet either.
I used Patken. I had my proofs after two weeks but I will say that it says in my contract disk 6 months, but it actually means 6 months after you get your wedding album. I called, fought with the girls for about two minutes and then gave up...I guess you tech. get it a year after the wedding.
my wedding was 8/16 and i havent seen anything yet and dont think i will for a while, but im not using patken... i think i should check my contract and start pressing on them! thanks!
We had Patken - got married 8/8 & received call while we were on our HM that our proofs were ready (we had approx 2 week HM) - so I was able to get them about a month after but just the album proofs. When I met w/our photogrpaher when we picked up proofs he said it would be 6 months from that day (we were told it was 6 months from when they receive the final payment). But we had 698 pics taken & Ive scanned about 400 into our computer just to upload to Snapfish for some of the family.
I'm not getting proofs, but I am getting the disc of images, and I was told that they're going to shoot for getting them to me on 12/21, which if that happens I'll be doing cartwheels.
I used J'Adore. It is written in my contract that I would have proofs within 3 weeks. I received them in a month along with other brides whose weddings were after mine. I also know several people who had finished photos from epics taken after my wedding and had everything delivered right away. It just seems that my photos took a backseat with the editing. I didn't complain because I'd rather have great proofs than rushed ones but the editing was not worth the wait.
