How long for Tuxes

How long for Tuxes

When should my FH gather his guys and go check out Tux places? also how do they handle OOT people in bridal party? can anyone recommend a good place?

I'd say about 3 months before. My friend who recently got married used Men's Warehouse since it is a chain and her OOT guys went to the one closest to them to get their tuxes. One even went, had his measurements done, and then ordered it to pick up at the NY store when he flew in. They wore these great Calvin Klein tuxes from there.

we booked ours already, but we're ahead of the game on that one. i think they recommend about 3 months in advance.

for our oot people we gave them a list of names and filled out the necessary forms so when they call in everything's already entered into the computer and they just have to add their measurements (they can go to any tux place by them and get measured). but when my mom went to put down the deposit tonight, the lady there gave here a bunch of envelopes addressed to them and she said i could just send/give it to them that way our oot people could just plop their deposits and measurements in there and mail it off. that way i don't have to chase people down. seems like a good idea, but we'll see how it goes! =0)

p.s. - if you want an unusual suit (like we want chocolate brown) i'd go earlier. i'd go REALLY early if your wedding is during prom season.

we just went today to RSVP in bayshore and they were amazing! they said we were a little early but were also getting married in the heart of prom season.. and if your in may you should prob get a move on if you ask me cuz thats when all the proms start. it may sound silly but theres def. more of them the us plus you want to get what you want not whats left over.

out of towners you mail them an envelope and they have to go to a local tux store and get measure its usually Free and they have to mail in their measurements to the tux place you pick with their deposit.. and thats it.. when they come into town they get check by your tux place and then try it on when they come in for the wedding.. much easier then i expected to be honest.
