How long from your application to closing-- did it take to get your mortgage?
We have 25 days from when we were able to apply for our mortgage til our closing date-- I know the date can always be pushed back a bit-- but I am worried about this taking a really long time..
Was curious to know other people's experiences.

i had less than a month to close on my condo--just start working on gathering all the documents now--W-2's from past two years, 30 days of pays stubs, checking/savings acct statements, other acct statements, etc. they mortgage company will give you a list and a fax machine will be your new best friend. getting them all the paperwork they need is the biggest hurdle, once they have it the company should be able to process your request very quickly.

thanks-- we have everything in.. I was prepared-- DH was not.. but, as of tomorrow- all of our paperwork will be in-- even additional stuff.
Luckily, our mortgage broker is a friend-- so, I can annoy the shite out of her!

I think it took a week to get the good to close from the bank. The attorney was still waiting on one thing which took another week but it was really quick!
You should be able to pull it off in 25 days. Good luck

We applied on about June 8 and received our commitment letter on June 23rd. It's mostly a matter that you can provide any documentation they request promptly. Pay stubs, w-2's, investment records....
I'd be more concened that the title search would take longer than the mortgage, make sure to stay on your attorney about that.
