How Long Have you and Fh...

Our wedding weekend will be our 6 year anniversary

6 years and 9 months exactly

81 months!

And I thought we had been dating for forever! We got engaged on our 3 year anniversary, end of January, and we are getting married in July.

But im curious...how many of those who have been together for so long have been together w/o and breakups?

We're getting married June 1, September 16 will be our 8 year anniversary, so 7 years, 8.5 months?

Never broken up, never even had any turbulance in our relationship. I could count the number of serious arguments we've had on one hand...

I think a lot of us who date this long are couples who got together in their teens. We were 18, got engaged when we were 24 (actually my 25th bday lol), married when we're 25 & 26 (I'm 8 months older..). We were too young to think about this stuff for a lot of our relationship, and we're both going through 4 year grad school programs, so financially we weren't ready until now.

I am definitely the shortest here! We knew right away that we had found the one! We are both 28 and no need to delay the inevitable! I also feel very lucky that we found eachother later in life, when we both already have careers and are all set up!

That is amazing!!!
My FH and I have never broken up either. As for serious arguments, I'd probably have to utilize both hands to count them...But we work through it all. I find that the problem w/ alot of my friends relationships is that they are both too proud just to give in and apologize!
