How long have you & FH been together?

We met the summer of 2008 and started dating at the end of November. It was funny bc when we met with our officiant she said, 'so by the time you get married you'll have been together a little over 3 years.' It seemed like that wasn't a long time, when she said it like that... I was in a relationship for 7yrs and knew he was NOT the one. But with FH, I said, 'when you know, you know!!!!'

Thirteen years and before anyone asks, I'm the one who put off getting married until we were secure financially and done with school and all of that good stuff. :)

We've been together for 5 years. By the time we get married it will almost be 6.5 years of dating.

10 years...ugh I'm old!

lol I'm not far behind! I'm currently at 9 years.... we've known each other for about 15. We'll be getting married after 10 years of being together. I tried to make it our 10 year anniversary, but that was a failure.

As adults, we've been together for about 2.5 years (we got together 2/15/09). But we FH was my kindergarten boyfriend, then we lost touch and weren't in contact for about 20 years, despite going to the same schools/living within minutes of each other for most of our lives.

I too was in a 7 year relationship that didn't work out. FH and I knew it was right from the start of getting (back) together.
