How long have you had your current computer, not how long have you had a computer at all.

I just got a new computer a few months ago. I got an iMac and I swear: once you go Mac, you'll never go back!! I don't know why I wasted so many years on a PC.

i think have had mine for atleast 3-4 years

we bought a new hard drive about 3 years ago.

DH's birthday present this year was to update the computer...so the monitor and computer case are old....but everything else is shiny and new!
He likes to put them together, and it's soooo much cheaper, so everyone wins

i guess i should of read the question....6+ years,

my computer is a year old... we upgrade every 1 1/2 depending on type of technology.

2 years but it is the biggest piece of garbage I ever bought.

I've had mine for 5 years..I burned out a few HD's (all covered under warranty thankfully) and I doubled the RAM about a year ago, but other than that it's been great. I spent a LOT of money on it when I got it and I had to actually wait a month for the processor to be released, but it was SO worth it!

My desktop is turning 4 in a few weeks but my laptop is 2 months old.

6 years! I was my second big purchase when I had a full time job after college.

I used my tax refund ( the first year, I bought a couch with my refund)

It runs fine, DH did have to reformat it last year due to viruses & spyware.

Its a fun little game we play, trying to see what software & accessories will work with Windows 98!

We also have an IBM laptop ( with XP) what DH got as a gift 3 years ago when he finished his Masters.

We may buy a new desktop next year, or if DH
comes across a good deal.
