I always tell people that I will do something 'shortly', when I have no clue when I can get to it!

Yes, I started to figure out that they told me 'shortly' because they had no clue.
Turned out shortly was 2 hours.
Sorry, but I consider that rude.
When I've already been sitting around for hours and hours waiting .. don't tell me you'll be there 'shortly' .. when it's going to be another couple of hours!
