I have heard conflicting stories from family members and have only been to one facility. How long are weddings supposed to be? When they say its a 5 hour afair, does that include the 1 hour for cocktail hour?? Or is it 5 hours plus the one for the cocktail? This can get confusing!

Mostly it is 1 hour for the cocktail hour + 4 hours for the dinner, dancing reception.

Well, mine will be five hours which inludes the one hour for cocktail hour.....so if the cocktail hour begins at 7pm, 8pm-12midnight would be the reception. You can pay extra to extend the reception.

My cocktail hr starts at 5pm and the reception goes from 6 to 10. This totals 5 hrs as well.

My cocktail hr is from 7pm to 8pm and then my reception is from 8pm to 12am. 5 total

my cocktail hour is actually 1.5 hours, and my reception is 4.5. So 6 hours total, but that's pretty unusual...usually it's 5 hours total.

My cocktail hour starts at 4p.m and the reception starts at 5p.m and ends at 11p.m. it is 7 hours long.

Mine is 5 hours total. CH starts at 1:00 and reception starts at 2:00-6:00.

my wedding was from 6-12 at Flowerfield. 6:00-Hospitality 6:30-Ceremony 7:00-Cocktail Hour 8:00-12:00-Reception
