how long is your honeymoon?

how long do you think you will take off for your HM? are you going straight after the wedding? or do you plan to go back to work and then take a longer vacation later in the year?

my dream HM trip is about 35 days, which, sadly, is unrealistic in terms of time off and $$$$$.

We've only just started tossing around ideas for where to go. We're thinking either Grand Canyon/Vegas/Napa Valley or a cruise. Either way, we're thinking at least 7-10 days. My job is more flexible with allowing me to 'bank' days if I work on holidays (I can't see myself going in there on Thanksgiving or Christmas, but if it means heading in to work on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Presidents Day, 4th of July, etc. then I'll totally take advantage of it!) whereas his company is a little more strict about things.

Oh, and my company gives me a paid day off just for getting married, ,which I can use just before the wedding for last-minute things or tack it on to the honeymoon.

we will be leaving for Hawaii the sunday after our friday night wedding. since my aunt is giving us the gift of 7 days/6 nights at her time share, we will probably be staying an extra 5 days/4 nights. so in total we will be honeymooning for 12 days/11 nights. i will be taking off from work the day before the wedding & the day after we get back from the honeymoon

we are leaving the tuesday after our wedding and will be on our honeymoon for a week (tuesday to tuesday) but when we get back from our honeymoon I plan on staying out from work for the rest of the week...So i will be on 'honeymoon' for two weeks, and I also plan on taking a few days before the wedding off.

This is exactly what we plan to do except honeymoon away from Sunday to Sunday.

we are getting married on Saturday and plan on leaving for the HM on Monday and coming back on Saturday, unfortunately FH refuses to go longer than that

We are going away for two weeks (I cannot wait!) and will be leaving two days after our wedding. I wanted the buffer day to try to relax and finish up last minute packing between the reception and when we leave.

Our wedding is Sunday so we want to leave Tuesday.

we want to have about a 10 day honeymoon. We'll see what the budget allows us to do!

FH plans to take the whole month of October off and I'm wondering how in the world he's going to pull that one off, lol. I plan to start my vacation the Thursday before the wedding and take about two weeks, Our honeymoon will be one week at Excellence Punta Cana and I will have time to settle into married life when I get back.

Not sure, we haven't really decided where we are going. Probably leaving on sun or mon (friday wedding). I originally said 1 week, fh said 2, so 2 sounds good to me!

I have 20 days vaca each year and i can leave for as long as 3 weeks consecutively. FH might have a tougher time but he'll be working the week of our wedding. I'm DEF not.

we will be doing ours 2 months after the wedding. i think we are gonna go away for 2 weeks. we're also doing a mini moon for a few days after the wedding itself

I just started planning the honeymoon to Hawaii: Oahu, Maui, and Kuaui.

I figured out an 11 day vacation is in our budget.

Plus we are doing a honeymoon registry to help out (maybe it can be a longer honeymoon)!
