i thought the reception was the party oooh i know what it is.... you are the true party gurl and you're waiting for the after party! uh huh...

Mine is 1 hr CH and 4 hr reception plus whereever we bring the party to after

Yeah its usually always a one hour cocktail hour and 4 hour reception

cocktail hour is at 1-2 then reception is 2-6 so the whole party is 5 hours long. i think thats the norm?!

1 hour cocktail and 5 hours reception, we added an extra hour...so total is 7:30-1:30

I haven't picked my RH yet, but the three that I did go to I'm pretty sure were 1hr CH, and 4hr reception..of course you can add another hr for Vienesse

Ladies you're lucky, the standard rental time at our venue is 4 hours, which they say we could do the ceremony and CH and reception.. I think that it would seem too rushed. So if we want to add another hour it would be $500.00, PLUS we'd have to pay the caterer for another hour as well..and DJ etc.. argh!

That is what we are looking to do as well.... still going back and forth on a 7 or 7:30 start
