How long of a newlywife do you want? (before getting pregnant)

I want at least 1 year. Then we can start trying to get pregnant.

We are up for it anytime, we want to wait a little bit and buy a house and be comfortable first. But whenever it happens we will be happy

Like 5 years- I want to go to law school once FH finishes his PhD. I figure in 5 years, I'll be thirty. SO not so old!

We waited 3 months. I was ready! Now Im looking forward to watch them grow up. No more babies for me!

Approx. 3-5 years I want to get a house, be a stable working and healhty couple, and honestly i am not sure if i can have kids so it may never happen.

I had many x-rays on my hips as a child and they thought they were broken so i have been told to expect the worse my entire life. I pray i will be suprised when we are ready to have kids though.

We want a baby right away-but I think we are going to try-Try being the key word to wait 2 years-We want to travel, buy a home, fix it up, and possibly start a new business.

I have to take things one step at a time! This year is finish school. Next year is take boards, start work, and get married! Then I'd have to buy a home and then we'll talk about starting a family.

I would like to point out that you can 'enjoy married life' with a baby. Some of us are doing it quite nicely.

My Fh and I have discussed this and I really dont mind when we start trying. although I do want to enjoy some private time with him.

After rour wedding and HM (March) we want to travel again in tthe summer that follows so maybe on that vacation. Then we will have to start payinga mortgage anyway!

Since my niece has been born I've been bit by the baby bug, but I'd really like to be settled into a house first. Probably one to two years for us.

We were originally anywhere from 2-3 years (before I am 30).....but FH seems to have a baby bug lately, so I'm think more of a year to two years now. We will have a house right before we get married and want to make sure we are settled first.

me too. I want to start trying after 1 year. I think FH feels differently now though.

FH and I want to wait till after we both get out of the military and/or until I finish Law school. Thats at least 3 years ... I'm not sure if that is realistic though.

my baby will be about 3 weeks old on our one year anniversary.....we wanted to wait until we got a house. We moved in July 4th weekend, and I got my BFP on July 16th ( I think we conceived on 4th of july)
