How long .. photo taking question

How long do you think you will be taking pictures for on the day of your wedding? Are you going to a location and then after going to your venue to also take pictures there?

My photographers told me they would arrive to me 1.5 hrs before we leave hotel (where we are getting ready. ) we are Doing a reveal at the venue around 915-930ish I think them pics afterwords until 11. Ten we will be tucked in our bridal suite until our 1130 ceremony begins. So an hour an a half. After ceremony just a few other shots Total 2 hrs I'm thinking.

I would love to hear others situations and how they r doing pics !

The photographer is arriving at 2pm, church is at 4pm, cocktail hour is 7pm so we plan to take pictures in long beach (FH and I live here), if weather permits, in between. And then pictures at RH, I am hoping to attend some of cocktail hour

We have an hour and a half time slot at OW Gardens for pictures. At the reception I don't anticipate spending more than 20 mins taking the pics with our families.

Our ceremony will be at 2pm and then we are stopping at Cedar Beach to take pics and then off to the reception hall to take pics. Cocktail hour starts at 6pm. That gives about 3 hours to take pictures. I think that will be plenty of time. The reception hall is 45 minutes away from church, so we have to include travel time as well.

your photographer will give you the best and most accurate timing based on what you want, where you will go and how many people you have in the family/BP.. our photographer said about 1-1.5 hours for our small families and BP of 6. we are doing majority of our photos at the ceremony location which is different than the reception

We have our photographer for 10 hours. They are coming to my house at 1 to get some getting ready photos. Church is from 2:30-3ish. Taking some photos at the church then heading to Old Westbury Gardens to take photos from 4:00-5:30. CH starts at 6 and they are staying to the end which is 11.

I can't remember what time they're arriving but one photographer is coming to my house to photograph me getting ready and the other is going to FH's house to photograph him. Then after the church, we are going to a TBD location (I'm thinking Garden City Gazebo) before the reception starts.

our ceremony is from 3:30-4 at our church in floral park, then figure about 30 mins outside the church for the receiving line and stuff.. so by 4:30 we should hopefully be leaving to go to Mill Neck Manor, which we have from 5-6 for pictures with just the bridal party.. following that, we will head to the milleridge for family pics which only takes 8-10 mins to get to from mill neck.. we hope to be done with pics by 6:45/7 the latest so that we can hangout at cocktail hour at 7

At the hotel our photographer will take 45 minutes of FH getting ready, 90 minutes of me getting ready. Then we are heading either to the park or the beach for family photos, which should take about an hour. (This is based on the size of your family and bridal party. Both of our families and the bridal party is small.) Then we are heading to the venue for the ceremony. After our ceremony we will take limited pictures during cocktail hour. All other photos will be informal reception photos. Our photographer is staying with us all day (no time limit).
