How long should it take the photographer to get you the Thank you Cards

How long is it going to take your photographer to get the proofs and then the thank you cards?

Every photographer is different. My proofs took 9 weeks. Once I chose the pic for my TY card, they had the cards ready in less than 2 weeks.

Oh and thats enough time to get out your thank yous?

Proofs took about 4 weeks and the thank you cards took about 2 weeks. I still have a few more to send out but i would've preferred to send out my thank you cards out much sooner..at the 6 week mark.

I'm not happy when I've been to weddings and get a thank you card almost 6 months after the fact, by that point why even bother sending them?

I got my pics on a CD in 4 days. My thank yous were done within 2 months

Technically you have a year to send a thank you but I would probably wonder why bother after 6 months
