How long till finished album?

Hello There past brides: How long did you wait for your finished album?
I got married on 1/14/12 and had proofs back in 6 weeks. I had my design session on 7/10 (just about 6 mos. after, there were conflictions with scheduling). I selected my 60 album images and now my photographer says he will have the layout for me to preview in 10-12 months! Does this seem a bit long to anyone? 10-12 months for my 60 image album to be completed?

seems about right, we did handed in and went over our album last month and they said it would be a good 4 or so months

I haven't gotten married yet, but I am booked with Sherwoo Triart as well. When I was doing research for them, I did see that brides said they took awhil for the album...I think it is because the photographer does all of the editting themselves.
