how long was it before 'i love you' was said and who said it?

so many of my friends start dating someone and three days later tell them they love them. personally, i dont think thats really love. FH and i were together just about six months, and even talked about how important it was to truly mean it before it was said, because he said he had said it before but never meant it (one of his ex's actually told him it was time for him to tell her, what balls she has!). i felt like for us, it was perfect timing, it didnt feel rushed or like an after thought. he was the first to say it, and when he did, i kind of just sat there and thought is he really saying this, and then i said i loved him too, and then he told me i gave him a heart attack by pausing before i said it, lol. also, i'm a complete dork and remember the date he said it, but in my defense, it was the day before new years eve so its not hard to forget, lol.

Awww.. I remember the date too. April 1st...and thankfully it wasnt a joke. It was said after 3 months but I honestly felt it before that (i just didnt want to be the first to say it and get rejected) so he ended up saying it first.

Its really funny, me and FH had only hung out about 5 times, we weren't even really together yet and he told me he loved me- i told him he was crazy, and he would continue to tell me that he loved me every week. i said i love you i think after about 4 months

i think it was like a month we were at a dave matthews concert in CT totally wasted and apparently i told him I love him and said i dont believe you, your drunk, if you mean it tell me in the morning. And I remembered and told him I did mean it.

I think it was about 3 months in, and I dont remember which of us said it first. It was kinda a shock that either of us had said it, but we had been friends for years, so we didn't have the initial 'getting to know you' phase

aww I remember it was about 3 months into it or so & we both knew we did but neither of us said it until one night before he left my house we were talking outside and I was sitting on the trunk of my car and he was standing in front of me and he told me he loved me & I just started crying lol lolll and I told him I loved him too and we huged & kissed ........................

and lived happily ever after lolll

He said it after three days!!!! And I told him he didn't know what love was and he told me to trust him that he just knows. He was right!

I didn't say it for a while though and I don't remember when. we made up this numeric code that meant I love you but we don't remember it now.

my FH said it after our third date...i was kind of taken aback but i of course said it back

We said it within the first month, but we were best friends for like a year that before so we already knew eachother pretty well.

I think it was something like that, but I remember it rolling off the tongue a bit better.... this is going to irk me until i figure it out.
