How long was the blackout last year?

Being powerless at home now makes me feel bad for everyone that went through this last year. Our pwer is going to be out for at least a week...how long were you guys out for?

Really? WOW, I really thought it was longer.

Different area were out for different times. Parts of Manhattan did not get their lights for almost 48 hours. Depends on the electric companies each area used.

4 pm to 3 am here!- almost 12 hours, but luckily most of them were sleeping hours!

same here....the lights came on while we were sleeping.

I wonder how many 'Blackout Babies' there were

Where I am at on the island it was out for just under three days. I know there were parts in Jersey that were out for much longer.

4 pm to 1pm, Where do u live that u have no power did I miss something?

I was stuck at my job overnight and all day next day. We didnt get power back on 2nd avenue and 57th street till about 3:30pm the next day.

i think ours came back on at around 2am, but i know of people who got it back as early at 10pm...

Ours was about 24 hours. One of the last places in Westchester.

We were one of the last areas in Brooklyn to receive power...I think it was around 7pm.

O NO!!!!!!! Im sorry I am glad u are safe and sound. What part of Florida. Did you have any damage?

we have some damage to our roof, which caused a leak so now we have water damage on our ceiling. We have a screened in pool and some of the screens have gashes, some have huge holes nad some are just missing, some gutters are hanging off, we lost some trees and there is a possibilty that we got structual damage to the foundation... but we are in good health and we did not get hurt, so life could be worse!
