How Long was your reception

including the cocktail hour, was it five hours?

so the actual reception was 4hrs, ..now let me ask you did you feel rushed or you got everything in and felt that the the timing was perfect

Our reception was 5 hours. Most of our friends and family aren't really dancers, and Jericho Terrace served the coffee and cake early, so a lot of people left early. The people that stayed just enjoyed sitting around and talking for the final hour of the night. This was actually nice, because we could sit and talk with our college friends that we haven't seen in a long time. This extra hour wasn't necessary at all, but I really liked it.

Ours was actually 6 because we did the VH! I am so glad we had the extra hour bc it gave our guests time to really enjoy themselves & digest before the next course came out!

we extended our cocktail hour so we had a 5 and a half hour reception.

We had booked the standard 5 hour (1 cocktail hour 4 hour recpetion) it was 7pm - midnight

However our BM allowed the bridal party to arrive 90 minutes early to eat and hang out before the actual reception so we were there from 5:30 to midnight. We were 8 people under the minimum and there wasn't a wedding before ours so it worked out well.

Ours was six also because of the VH, but then they extended it for another half hour or so because well, we were a large and crazy bunch or something.

I loved the extra time and soaked up every moment!
