But to his credit 2 of those were in college and he wanted to get on his feet.

Wow I am suprised about the lengths! I thouht most people propose 1-2 years!

About 15 months. He kept asking me throughout the relationship, but not with a formal proposal, just a 'will you marry me?' every now and then, and I always said no, not until you are ready with the ring.

Then, we picked out the ring and announced our engagement, and I didn't get it for like 3 months!!!! Boy am I a pushover!!!! hahahaha
