-23 months... Emma was born before we were married. I can understand why people say enjoy being married but its your life. If you want to have a child and you guys are ready go ahead.

We were married in 97' had my first daughte rin 99', we've been together since out teens so i felt ready we did the partying scene and we were through, we were ready to settle down. I have to admit, every once in a while we see a young couple put and we think 'wow, those were relaxing days!!'. Definitely take your time, emjoy married life, learn about each other because each other's true personalities come out with the stressors of parenthood, I wouldn't change it for the world. My kids are the best!!!!!

We have been married 10 months and just found out we are having a baby. I think everyone needs to do what is best for them.

We were married 9 months, just about to the day, when I got PG. You do what you feel is right for you not them. I hate when people pass coments like that.

Thanks ladies! It is nice to see that you can make it work right after marriage or even before. I love our married time, but I just hate when people tell me to wait x amount of years. I think it is pushy!

we were married 5 monhs when we got pregnant. But that is what we wanted.

married 96 preggo right away, had miscarriage, then had oldest in Dec of 97.

we were married about 2 and half years.. but that was our own choice

We got married in June, 2003 and got pregnant about 7 months later.

when the baby arrives we will be married two years and five months...

We got pregnant on our 1 year anniversary vacation. We have heard many different opinions from EVERYONE .......'You should have tried right away, or WOW, your pregnant already, but you guys just got married!'

Our son wasn't planned, however we were not trying not to get pregnant. I have to be honest we both wish we would have 1. married sooner (we were together for 4 years before we got married) 2. had a baby sooner. Do what is right for you, listen to your heart not everyone else's opinion.

we've been together for almost 10 years so after we got married EVERYBODY we knew hounded us about 'when' we were going to have kids....We took our time and started trying after a few months and were pregnant 8 months after we were married.

It is nice to see that different things work for different people. It only proves that everyone should mind there business!

DH & I will be married a year this September and are expecting our 1st child in December. Being that I will be 37 in November, we didn't want to wait too long before getting pregnant.
