How long would you wait to become preggo after your wedding..

We are going to try in May after the wedding. We will be taking a Cruise, so we sort of named it the 'Baby Making Cruise' and all are family members know The baby then will be born after our 1 yr anniversary. We both look forward to kids and don't want to wait to long. I will be 27 and Fh will be 28 years old.

We both will be 38 when we get married, but I still want to wait about a 6mos to a year before trying. He already has a daughter and we know we only want one, so hopefully this wont be a problem.

Same here. I'm only in my mid-twenties but I just can't see myself being ready for a child before I'm at LEAST 30. Actually, I may never be ready. I want to enjoy being married for as long as possible and so does FH. IF FH and I decide to have children it would be at least 3-4 years after the wedding.

If it was up to me then I would say in about 6 months - 1 year but I am 2 1/2 years older then my fiance and he wants to wait a bit. I am 26 and he is 24 so probably 2 - 3 years.

Considering I'm still in my early 20's I'd wait no less than 3 years. The goal would be a house first.

I can't believe I'm saying this because I never thought I'd be ready, but probably 6 months. We've already lived together for more than 3 years, so I don't feel like we'll be losing our 'alone time.'

We said roughly 4-5 years after. We were 26 when we got married.

I always said not before I'm 30, but that's 4 months after the wedding, so now its not before I get my Bachelors which will hopefully be a year after the wedding.

FH wants to start right away, he even jokes about starting now. I'd prefer to wait at least a year. We will have partial custody of his 4 year old daughter to keep us occupied in the meantime.
