How many
garters do you need? I ordered one that I am having monogrammed..but wanted to know if I need another to throw..or do I throw the one that I have?

I'd get a throw away one - that's the one that goes out to the 'bachelors' during the garter toss, and the bachelor who catches it, keeps it.
The one I had on for me - DH keeps with him.
