how many...

china place settings and every day place settings did you register for?

I do want to have big dinner parties when we get our house...so I registered for a lot...but idk what the right amount is.

I registered for 12 of each. I haven't had my shower or wedding yet but there are 5 everyday and 4 fine china that have come off of my registry. Whatever I don't get I'll buy myself.

I have seen everything from 8 to 16.

16... didn't register for china cause i really don't like it... and we entetain alot and could have over 12 people! since i registered for just 1 set, i got alot of place settings!

12, but i already have a set of actual china. I kind of got a nicer set of everyday... (pure porcelain... not sure what that really means... but someone called it Corelle!!! I don't think so)

I registered for 8 fine china settings and got 6.

Didn't register for everyday china, but got 1 set for the bridal shower (re-gifting it) and 1 as a wedding present (keeping). DH and I bought our own everyday china from Ikea.

I registered for 20 fine china place settings and recieved all at my shower. My everyday china was one of those box sets, I think of 12, but I'm not sure.
