How many buttons on FH's tux?

How many buttons does your FH's tux have? Mine can't decide which one he wants.

ETA: A second question--is your FH wearing a bowtie or a tie? Thanks

We must be in the same stage of planning, date twin!

FI and I went to look on Monday, and he seems to like the way the three button looks best. My only problem with it is that it seems to button up too high and I feel like you cant even see the vest. I liked the 2 button better. He will probably get the 3, though, I have to let him choose something, right? LOL

Oh, and they are wearing regular ties.

Haha! I guess that means we're on track then, right? I agree--I'd like to be able to see some of the vest (what color are you using? I think we're going with light silver since white washes him out).

I was just reading an article and it said that the taller and thinner your FH is, the higher the buttons should go up. I think FH can pull off the 3 button or 2 button so at least he has some options. We saw a nice 1 button today but there's not much difference between the 2 and the 1. Who knew tux shopping could be so confuing?!
