How many candles are there on a table?

How many candles are there on a table?

I was wondering what the average number of candles on a table is. My florist is going to give me 5, but I wanted to make sure that was enough.

I am probably going to have that many. I figured there is 10 at a table so 1 candle in between each couple.

i think it really depends on your centerpiece, and on the size and shape of the tables that the RH provides.

also, what kinds of candles? tea lights?

Regular votives. My centerpiece is in my album. What do you think? I was actually going to do 6 myself, 3 lows and 3 highs (pillar like...but not too high).
My florist is giving me 5 for each table though and I may not want to spend the extra money.

i think 5 is fine ... people will be too amazed by your cp to notice the candles anyhow

Are the candles the same size as the votive candles?

don't forget the table will also have lots of other things on it like the china, glasses, and possibly wine bottles. so 5 should be plenty.
I don't know if you can tell from my pic but we had only 2 small votives on oval tables for 10 that were set for only 8 people so there was room on the ends. But otherwise, the table tops were pretty busy.

i had 5 votives and then 1 floating candle in my cp... there is a lot of stuff ont he table so it was plenty! here were my tables although the votives are kinda hard to see here
