I have made a concerted effort to weed out the ones that I can't consider close friends, because trust is the most important thing to me.
Now...there are 3 people on this earth I would trust my life and every secret with, and one is my husband.

3 females (2 childhood friends and 1 college roomate) 2 males (FH and the guy who introduced us)
The others are just good friends or acquaintances.

mistyeyed- i did not have to weed them out. they weeded themselves out all on there own. i have realized in recents months who are my good friends and who are not. turns out my 2 good friends I have known since highschool. Although a really good friend who got married last year, his wife is turning out to be one of those people who are good friends.

I'm pretty open with all of my friends, the person I trust the most is FH. BUT if we're talking JUST friends, then ONE!

Outside of DH, I have 2 very, very close friends that I confide in regularly w/everything in my life.

3 very closest friends and 2 other, that I would telle verything too, but they are in Main and upstate, so becasue they are not around they don't wind up hearing everthing. But when they are home, it is like they have never left.

#1 is Dh other then that are 'my girls' who I grew up with. I trust each and every one of them with anything and everything - there are 6 of them.

Wow, I just thought about it and including JT, I have 5. Yet, somehow, I'm still all alone at home on a Friday night...might need to reconsider that number
