i have to ask for extended vacation from October to March in August!!!

im confused???

Okay in August I get this form - on it i have to put any vacation days I want to take from October of this year to March of next year IF these days fall near a holiday OR if i need more than four days off in a row.

I make my own schedule and have a RIDICULOUS amount of vacation time so it should definitely get approved. . . but if too many people go away at the same time they could NOT approve you.

Im taking off probably around 5 days before. Our wedding is on a Sunday so im thinking Wed or something like that.....

nope - it isn't on any 'hot days' and when i told her about my two weeks to italy she just laughed and told me to put it on the form

she knows when the wedding is though bc she asks about it so i am sure she assumes i will be taking time off

Ditto! I'm psyched about the fact that we have plenty of time after the last day of school to prepare, and then we have a month and a half to go on our HM, then come home and STILL have a few weeks to kick back and enjoy married life! FH wishes he was off too though lol

I'll be teaching by then, so I think i'll have a solid 2 or 3 weeks off before my wedding..

I'm a teacher and getting married in July so luckily I'll have a lot of days off before and after the wedding.

We're getting married on a Friday, so FH plans to take off definitely the day before, and possibly the Wednesday before. He's also going to take 2 weeks off after the wedding.
