how many days before the wedding would you get waxed?

Just curious. I plan on going to the place I always go to but wasn't sure how close to the wedding to go.

You should not have sex for 24 hours after getting waxed

Have you gone before? If not, I suggest you go earlier in the week (Tuesday or Wednesday) This will allow any swelling to go down or any bruising to clear up. Otherwise, Thursday is probably fine.

I strongly suggest you go to Maria at Maximus Spa in Bellmore. She is simply amazing!!!

thanks! I want to get my eyebrows and lip done and am so used to those.....BUT I also want to try getting my legs waxed and attempt a brazilian. Just a little nervous -- but wanted to surprise my FH. So I'm thinking then that Wednesday would be better if we get married Friday.

The legs need to be waxed especially since we are going on a 2 week cruise and the cruise ship showers are so impossible to shave in.

i doing my eyebrows the week before b/c my eyes swell - then my bikini the wed before and i am going to have her loook over my eyebrows for any strays

I went on the saturday before my friday wedding..

I got my brazilian about a week before my wedding. At first I was nervous b/c I did get a little irritated but after 3 days, I was fine.

i'm getting married on a sunday and getting mine done on the thursday before.

I am going to go to T Carlton and am thinking about going the sunday before my friday wedding. I have the same planwith the legs and brazillian. I did a bikini as a trial run and it wasn't bad at all. I think we can do it!!! Uh, let me know how it goes!! I hear really good things about the girl at T Carlton!

If you're having airbrushing done, I believe you cannot have your eyebrows or face waxed up to a week before....double check w/ your make up artist. As for the other waxing, a week before is fine, even 4 days prior, but not 2 days before the wedding.
If this is your first time attempting a brazilian, I would do a simple bikini and see it you like that, if you feel you can handle the pain, go for it! Definitely go w/ some pain medicine...and ask for the spray that numbs you, it doesn't help much...but it does help!
It's not that bad...if I can do it every month and I'm a big chicken so that must speak for something!!!! I can't wait to see myself giving birth! hehehe

i went to Bliss for my first brazilian.... along with my legs, underarms, lip, and brow waxings --

i went on thursday morning and the wedding was on saturday -- i think it was perfect timing.

the brazilian hurt like a mother!!! but i feel like i never want to go back to shaving!
