your period for? I used to have it for 5, but now I get it for 4.

About 7 until I consider it GONE. But really it's only significant for two days, then almost nothing for day 3. then a little more again but still light on days 4 and 5 and then fades out totally over the next day or two.
When I first started as a teenager, it would last for 10 freakin days!!!! UGH!!! I couldn't STAND it.

I just want you ladies to know...
Before I had Emma my period was HORRIBLE, cramps, PMS, 5-7 days
After I had Emma heavy for 2 days then VERY light with NO CRAMPS for 2. Having children stretches out your uterus and eases cramping!!! YAY another reason to tell your DH you want to have kids!

I only get it heave for a couple days but then it's still lurks around for a couple more so I would say 7 or 8 days of some kind of padding,

i get it for 3 days then it stops for a day and comes back for another 3, so i would say 7 until it's completley gone.

6 days - 3 heavy and 3 light. Now that I'm on the pill, I hardly have cramps. About once every 6 months, my cramps get bad enough for me to pop an Advil. Before the pill, my doctor told me to take 4 Advils every 6 hours for cramps. God they were terrible!!!

4 days without the pill but my cramps are pretty bad -does that mean that it will be less with the pill - cause less is always better when it comes to that!

3-4 days for me too.. and I can predict it within a 6-hour range ever since I've been on the pill

3-4 on the pill, but before (geez I can barely remember its been like 10 years) it was like 7-8 and so painful. Is anyone else afraid to go off the pill like i am????

Full 7 for me (and I'm on the pill too ) but it's very light from days 3-7.
