We are planning to go there for our honeymoon! For those of you that have been there, would 8 nights be too much? We are considering the Melia which is only a few blocks from downtown Cabo? Advice?

hey - question - me & FI were thinking of going there as well. have you been told the flight is 8 hrs or 6 hrs???

I've been to Cabo twice. Both times I spent 6 nights. The Melia is very close to downtown. It depends on what you are looking for. The hotels near downtown are more active and some are on public beaches. Both times we've been to Cabo my FH and I have only spent 2 or 3 nights out in downtown Cabo. We're not too big on the crazy bar scene.
Personally I like the hotels on the corridor. They are quieter, have private beaches, only about a 15-20 min drive to Cabo San Lucas. (Most hotels have a shuttle). You are also only about 20-30 min drive to San Jose del Cabo which is a more traditional Mexican town.
Either way you'll love Cabo.

we leave Ny at 6 am with an hour layover in chicago. Then arrive in Cabo at 12pm. but it confuses me with the time change? Not sure! dawn for cruise one has been helping me and she has been great! We will book through her! Fh is very excited about Cabo so if he's excited...I am thrilled! We really wanted to do greece or italy but would not be able to afford it! maybe for our anniversary?!
