How many different candies should I have with a list...
I am having a candy buffet and I was wondering how many different candies I should have. My list right now is 50 different types but that is WAY too many.

Re: How many different candies should I have?
my brother did a candy buffet for his wedding...we also made one for my sister in laws shower... here is a picture of the one from the shower... for the wedding they had the same candy with a few extra! you can even get away with having more than one dish of the same candy!!
eta they are 12 hugggee apothecary jarls like 2 gallons each.
I think if ur doing smalled jars u can do more types- I just didn't wanna mix types in my jars

Is that your only favor? Cause if it is, then I would do like 15, but if its not then do like 10

50 is a lot! Very overwhelming for both you and the guests! I would want to take everything lol. I think 10-20 is sufficient.

This is not the favor just something extra to give out since I love candy and I am not doing a Viennese hour.

maybe you should do like a certain color scheme behind it, and it will make your list a lil shorter... (although ALL THAT CANDY SOUNDS FREAKING FANTASTIC)
i dont know your colors...but say it was blue...do like
Blue M and M's blue air heads blue jelly beans blue rock candy blue gum balls... blue jolly ranchers... blue pixie sticks
and so on...

lol well yeah if you do yellow and blue that would be sooo cool..and if there is another candy you reallllly want maybe you can wrap it in something yellow or blue? i dunno when i see the candy bar i think the color scheme enhances it!

Re: How many different candies should I have with a list...
All the weddings that I have been to that have had them usually have 8-12 kinds of candy
Usually it has the gummy candies with some chocolate like M&Ms and stuff.
