I have narrowed it down to around 5 photographers and a few DJs so far. Just wondering how many you ladies met with in your search?

i only met with one of each because i used the same vendors as my cousin since i knew how they worked & loved them all.

I met with only one dj company cause i saw starlight at someone party and had to have them.... i sat with one florist cause aubert did all my family functions and i think he is the best... with video & photo i saw them when i want to starlight and fell in love with them...

Saw 2 RH's (Milleridge Inn Cottage & Capt Bills) 2 photographers (thomas paul & patken) 1 Florist - Burtons 1 DJ we met with so far and will likely use
Going for hair/ makeup trials in August.
I live out of state, so I did alot of research online, and I have many friends getting married, or just got married, so they too were a good resource. I knew what kind of RH I wanted (understated, no marble, simple), and what kind of photographer I was looking for.
My suggestion is to narrow down the style you are looking for, and go from there. It will make your decisions that much easier.

1 RH (booked) 1 Florist (booked) 2 photo/video (booked 2nd one) 1 just video (didn't book) 1 band (booked)
I pretty much knew what I wanted before meeting with people so it was easy.

When it came down to it this was pretty much the breakdown:
RH's- 8 halls in two days
DJ's - 10- this was the hardest for me- easiest choice for DH..lol
Limo- 2 places- we knew what we needed/wanted.
Florists- 7 Florists- was a no brainer as to who we loved the best
Photographer/Video- only visited 5- was really easy to choose who we wanted to go with
Hair/Makeup- only met and had one trial- loved it on the spot so we booked right away.

We met with 3 florists, 3 DJs and 2 photographers. We had an appointment for a 3rd photographer but fell in love with 12th Night (our second appointment) and went with them. You know when you know!

When it came to deciding I wanted to have at least 2 to choose from. That way I could compare packages and prices. Worked out well for us.
