What is the most anyone has done in one day? My first appointment is for 10:30am so I get an early start, I am trying to figure how many appointment to make, I figured if I have more time I can drop in on some places. I know I can do alot, I am more worried about my company I am dragging along with me.

Re: How many Dress Shops in one day?
Ive only done 1 in a day, but then again picking out my dress only took about hour and a half. It all depends if you like the dress and its a good price. How many appointments have you made?

Re: How many Dress Shops in one day?
I've done four in a day (all in walking distance from each other). It is tiring but a lot of fun!

I did 2 in a day & they were not even a mile away from eachother. The lst time I went (wen I decided on my dress) I was there for almost 3 hours!!

Re: How many Dress Shops in one day?
I went to 4 shops in one day. I found my dress in the first one but just checked out 3 other stores just to be absolutely sure. Then I called the first store and told them to order my dress.

Re: How many Dress Shops in one day?
I went to one dress shop last night, I'm going to one on Monday and I'm going to 3 next Saturday.
The 3 on Saturday I booked, 10am, 12:15pm and 2pm. So, that's enough time to get from place to place and grab a bite to eat in between the 2nd and 3rd.

Which shops have you gone too? and where are you going to next saturday.
I have only been shopping like 2x, and the first time I went to 3 shops which were kinda spread out, but it was fine I didnt mind. So tomorrow I booked4 appointments and then there are 2 shops that said I dont need appointments, so I will see how it goes, My first appointment is at Kay-ann bridal in Franklin Sq at 10 am, I never heard of them but I know they carry Mori Lee and St patrick and thats what I am looking for.
good luck

Re: Brides Dress
I went shopping for my bridal gown with my mom and I went to a few stores that were near each other. When I went shopping for the bridesmaids, I just brought my MOH and we went to one store one day and another store another day. Finally, I found some dresses in the color I wanted and brought all the girls on the same day and had them pick their dresses. It actually went smoother than I thought.

Re: Karen62794
Kim,
I went to Lillette's last night and the ladies were so sweet and did not pressure me at all.
Monday, I'm going to the Wedding Plaza in Baldwin and Saturday I'm going to Bonaventure (Garden City), Bridal Garden (Bethpage) and Bridal Reflections (Massapequa) at 10, 12 and 2.
I think I will be exhausted by the 3rd one, but I'm dying to get my dress!
I'm not really looking at any specific designers, but I like Private Label by G/Ginza, Jasmine, and Moonlight. The dresses I tried on last night were Paloma Blanca and Remy Couture. I'm looking for something comfortable with either short sleeves or off the shoulder.

Re: Karen62794
Karen, Did you like any of the dresses last night? My friend mentioned Lillettes to me too, if I cant make it there tomorrow, I might go on thursday, cause thats usually the late night.
I was thinking of going to the bridal garden in Bethpage but figured I will wait till next week bc of the US Open.
Is the Bridal Plaza in Baldwin right down the block from Lilletes? I think we shopped for a bridesmaid dress at both but not sure.
Good Luck with your shopping, and I will post on Monday about the shops I go to tomorrow.
Did Lilletes have mori lee or St patricks (if you noticed)? thanks kim

Re: Karen62794
Kim,
I think I tried on about 8 dresses at Lillette's. The first 5 or so were so heavy, I couldn't believe it. They were beautiful, but too heavy for a July wedding.
I tried on a beautiful silk organza gown by Remy Couture. It was an a-line, off the shoulder and made my waistline look really small
However, it is a little out of my price range. I will go to another few salons to see what they have.
I didn't notice if they carried Mori Lee or St Patricks.

Re: Karen62794
Karen thanks for your help.
I ended up at 4 bridal salons on Saturday, The first one was Kay Anne Bridal in Franklin Sqaure and there is where I found a strapeless St Patrick that I was looking for, which I really liked.
Then 2 more stores, I found one I liked at the first one but not as much as the st.patrick, and at the second store there was nothing I wanted to try on and they had people sharing a dresses room, so I wasnt thrilled with this (was outta there quick).
Then I ended up going to Lilletes cause I knew they carried Mori Lee, well they were really great there. The salesladies name was Gerri and she went thru the whole store picking out dresses with me, we had lots and some on the side (depending on time, since store closed at 5).
Well I ended up liking 3 there, one I had been looking for everywhere and they had it but in a much bigger size, so it was hard for my friends to see how it fit me but she pinned me up the best she could (know I know how the real tiny girls feel like) and then 2 more I just feel in love with too.
So now I am down to 4 dresses I love, what am I going to do, drive myseld crazy I guess.
Good Luck to you, I am not trying on any more new dresses now, just look for the ones I like and hopefully they will have a size close to mine.
