how many dresses....

did you try on before you fiound 'the one?' i only went to one store and tried on about 6 dresses, my dress was the last one i put on.

just curious

I think I tried on about 20, but my dress is the first one I put on. I basically only tried on the others because I thought it was impossible to find 'the' dress right off the bat, and Vera Wang had a sample sale that I went to.

I tried on 2 just for fun the week we got engaged, so I don't really count those.

I tried my dress on 1st and loved it, but didn't love the price so I tried on 3 more. They didn't do it for me. I went to other places and looked for other dresses in my budget, but none compared to the 1st. So I found someplace that could order it for me that took 15% off the price!! SOLD!!!

I tried on a handful at Kleinfelds although I only went there to try on one specific dress that I wound up not liking on. Then I went to RK Bridal..tried on a few there..liked one of them..went to Paradise Bridal..tried on three there, liked none of them..then went to the Wedding Salon of Manhasset..bought the first dress I tried on there. It was love at first sight!

I went to Kleinfelds (ugh) David's (not a bad experience) and Bridal Reflections.

David's first-then Bridal Reflections then Kleinfelds.

I think in total about 10 dresses. I looked at a whole bunch more in magazines and at the salon.

At Bridal Reflections it was the first dress I tried. I tried some others but I kept going back to the first one. It was right for me.
