Until you found THE ONE!?!?! I feel like I found it.... and it was like the 3rd dress I tried on. lol I'm going to go dress shopping tomorrow to see if I don't see anything else out there.

i walked into the bridal place...and there was a girl trying on the one i liked...i tried on 2 others but then asked to try on that one (while the girl was there) it fit like a glove (likeeeee a glooooove- ace ventura)...and i fell in love...
that is beautiful i think i tried on about 15-20 3 of them a few times to narrow down the possibles.

wayyyy to many to count. I loved a few but the very last one was the one! and i almost didnt go there 5 places in 3 days and over 30 dresses. lol but i wish i could keep going.. now its over and im sad

Aww It's beautiful! I love Maggie - I tried on 2 of her dresses - both beautiful. I ended up trying on only about 5... I purchased the 1st dress I tried on because I kept comparing the others to it... my whole entourage did... they kept saying 'it's lovely, but it's not the first one...'
That's how I knew.
The most helpful thing anybody told me was 'if you think you found the one... don't keep looking and confuse yourself more... make the decision and move on to the next planning item'
I really knew it when I tired it on - I knew it when I saw the photo of it on the internet actually.
Good Luck - it's so much fun :D (seriously - you can't go wrong with Maggie ;D)
I tried 18 dresses at least and the 2nd dress I tried on I knew it was the one.

i tried on a bunch of dresses! but i know 1 girl who only tried on 1 dress and she felt it was it...and my other friend tried on 3 and felt the third one was it. Some girls are lucky...

Nice! I tried on about 30-35 gowns, the one i wound up with I didnt even like on the hanger, the seamstress picked it specifically for me. I wouldnt try it on all day so it was the last dress of the day, and that was it! I was in love

I tried on about 10-15...I think you just know when you found your dress!
That dress is really pretty! The way it flows at the bottom looks like a princess gown!

not counting macys which i dont really consider true dress shopping, it was the 2nd or 3rd dress i tried on.. but i tried on about 80 more afterwards before deciding for sure

The first day I went trying on I probably tried 20-25 dresses. Complete sensory overload!! The next month I went back and forth endlessly on decisions and my mermaid vs ballgown issue.
But I'm glad I had a month to 'marinate' I Last night was my 2nd session of try ons, I tried on 6 gowns, 3 of which I tried on during the first visit..
And I went with the dress that had my heart way before I got engaged. The one I had on for 2 seconds the 1st visit, dress #18 out of 25. I tried it on again and I just knew.
I'm glad I went through the process the way I did. Yes it was analytical as hell, but it led me to my decision so it worked.

I can't even remember the exact amount...it's probably close to 20-25, because of all the crep-ola I tried on at DB. I found my dress at my 4th visit though, so it was one of the last ones I tried.

I'm in the same boat as you! I think I found the one but I haven't ordered it yet. I only went shopping twice and both times went to Davids. It was the second dress I tried on. I probably tried on about 12-14 total. I didn't feel it was the one the first time I tried it on but then when I tried it on at the end of the first trip I realized how much I loved it. The woman even said to me 'you have all the signs - you said you love it and you don't want to take it off'. Then all i did for a week was think about it and look at it online. I went back to try on more and saved it for last. Once I tried it on I felt like all the other dresses were missing something. I actually got misty eyed!! It's the first dress in my life that I actually feel good in so I think it has to be the one
There are days that I think I should go out and look more but I think I will only confuse myself because I really do love this one!! Good luck
