I have found a lot I hate but Every time one even looks 'decent' I think maybe this is the one, I'm afraid I'm going to have to choose between 10 dresses if I keep trying...and PLEASE DONT say , I will know when its the ONE...I am the most undecisive person in the world...the ONE could bite me in the a** and I would still think I should keep looking...

Re: How many Dresses did you try on all together?
I have tried on about 20 but I found the one the first time out. Just had to be sure. Like with husbands, I don't think there's only one that will make you happy. Keep looking if you're not thrilled with the dress though, or maybe consider getting it made. Has it been 'oh, I like this one except for...' kind of a thing? If so, maybe you can take all the elements you like and create your own dress.

I think I tried on about 8... 10 at most. I thought 2 others might be 'the one' until I tried on the last.. then I just knew they werent

Re: How many Dresses did you try on all together?
I've lost count on how many I've tried on but I went to 5 different places. I finally found my dress Saturday and I thought I'd never find one.

Re: How many Dresses did you try on all together?
I probably tried on about 20...all in 1 day. At the end of the day I found 2 dresses that I loved,at 2 different bridal shops. (there was no need to look further, I knew it would only confuse me more if I kept trying on dresses) I knew I would have been happy with either one. In the end, I chose between the 2 out of convience. The bridal shop would ship my dress from Boston to LI for free, and it was also closer to me.
I am so happy with my decision, I have never looked back.

Re: How many Dresses did you try on all together?
I went to 11 different bridal salons and tried on approximately 6-8 different dresses at each. Unfortunately, I did not have any idea of what type of dress I wanted at the beginning and did not find pictures in magazines very helpful.
The more I looked at dresses, the more I knew what specific details I wanted my dress to have. I finally found the dress that incorporated all those details and that's how I knew.

Re: How many Dresses did you try on all together?
My dress was only the third or fourth I tried on, but I kept trying on more that day. I than went to Boston and was trying on dresses with my sister and then to NY to try dresses on with my mother. I am really glad that I kept looking even though I felt like I found the one. My decision was solidified when everytime I tried on a dress I would say some thing like 'It's nice but it does not have as nice of a train as the other dress' Or it does not have as nice detail...every dress I tried on got compared to my dress. I then ordered the dress in NY and when it came in, the ordered the wrong dress! (GGRRR Bridal Reflections, still bitter a year and a half++ later) I had a chance to change my mind and I did not waiver on it one bit.

Maybe 50. I think I went to 6 salons and tried on about 10 in each.
