How many favors??
How do I figure out how many favors to order? My guest list is 260 and we are going to do one favor per couple. I want to make sure I have enough but I also don't want to have a million left over.How did you all figure out how many to get?

I would divide that number in half provided you don't have a ton of children and people coming without guests. If so, take another 10 or so off that list! You can always sell what you have left over!

Yes good idea! I made the mistake of not ordering enough and had to go back to order more. I would rather have extra than not enough. Besides... some family and friends will always take an extra.]

We're waiting till we get most of the RSVPs in and then going to order the favors per couple.

if you got all rsvp's back... deduct 20% (as that is the amount that wont com even though they say yes) then take off another 20 or so.... what ever is left that is how much you should order!!!

That seems like a high # to estimate 20% not coming after they said yes. I doubt if 100 people RSVP'd yes to your wedding that 20 people would just NOT show up. I wouldnt count on this because you might under order at this rate.

either way for the RSVPs or pre-order....most brides do one per couple anyway so you need far fewer than you'd think.there's no magic number or formula for figuring out who's coming so i wouldn't try that method. the worst that happens is you can sell them or use the favors that are left over.
