how many favors to order?

this might be a stupid question, but how do i order favors before i know how many people are coming to the wedding???

I'm just making an educated guess and overestimating my responses... if I have extras, so be it. I'm going with something inexpensive enough that it'll be ok to have extras.

after i made my list i guestimated how many people i think would come. it also depends on what kind of favor you are doing - if you are doing one per person or per couple.

depending what you get you might be able to wait until you get a better feel for how many people are going to come, you might even hear from some people sooner than later.

Most favor sites have very quick shipping, so I'm waiting until after my RSVP date, actually a week after. They ship in 7-10 days usually, and I've got over a month from RSVP date to wedding.

Its usually estimated. I would always order more than your guarantee. You'll prob want a keepsake, someone may want more than one, etc. Better to have and not need, than need and not have. JMO.

I would order a few more than you invited because you never know.
