I was lucky -- I only had 2 fittings. My dress fit very well. I didn't need it hemmed or anything. Just taken in under the arms and the bustle.

My first fitting was in the beginning of June and my 2nd fitting was 2 weeks later. My wedding was July 4th.

I left a deposit on my dress on August 16th. I was measured for my dress at the time.

Since I am losing weight I have to go back in January to get remeasured

April for fitting one

June/July for fitting two

first week of Sept for fitting three

wedding: Sept 18, 2004

Its also a custom made dress

I've had 2 fittings so far and my wedding is in December. My dress is not being altered at the place I bought it and my dress needs to be cleaned too so that's why I started a little earlier. I will be going for my final fitting a few weeks before the wedding.

I was told that I would have three fittings.

I had the first in September, the next one is Oct 21st, and then a week after that I will have the last one. Then I will pick the dress up a few days before wedding.

My wedding is November 8. I had one fitting on Sept 30th, my second will be on Oct 28th then I will pick the dress up the day before the wedding. I didn't need much work- the hem, bustle and tiny bit taken in in the bust!
