I'm thinking about having 3 dozen roses in mine, and 2 dozen in my BM's but i dont know if this is too big. TIA!!

I was going to have exactly the numbers you're considering. When I met with my florist, his siter wrote up my quote. 15 minutes into the metting, the owner took over. Since the initial meeting, I've met with my florist about 6 times. He told me that 36 roses in my bouquet would look overwhelming and be huge. He also said it might look a bit dated (think back to the huge, cascading bouquets of yesteryear).
Anyway, I've decided to have about 28 (give or take) roses in my bouquet and about 10 less in my BMs' bouquets. My MOH will have the same number as the rest of my bridal party, but I'm going to play with her colors a bit.
You're going to get varying opinions on this so it might be best to actually see the different sizes in person to decide which you like best.

I had exactly the same numbers that you are thinking of and I think it worked out well.
