how many flowers per BOK and CP?

Do I need to stipulate this in my floral contract and if so, how did you know how many to request? I have no clue!

Definately for the bo-k!!! I didnt for my CP because it was a big mix, but if it was like plain roses I would.

How do I know how many to request? Sorry if this is basic... but I have no clue. Is there a way to gauge or a good resource to use?

Someone just posted a thread on this. You have to look around and see what you like. Mine was 4 dozen. My BMs were 2 dozen.

I specified EXACTLY in my contract.

CP's will have 3 dozen roses, 2 dozen lillies, and fillers

BOK's - mine will have 3.5 dozen roses
MOH will have 2.5 dozen roses
BM's will have 2 dozen roses

As far as gauging how...go look at the florists samples, and see what suites your liking. Once you've picked out the style you want, have them put down 'AT LEAST' for the amount...

I would definitely have them put it in the contract. Only b/c I have heard some stories where they promise to put 24 roses let's say in a centerpiece and then only provided 18-20.

i went with Flowers by Brian and this is what they told me. Mind you i have 65 centerpieces.

Half hi/24 roses and fillers.

Half lo/18 roses in a flat cp.

My bok-48 flowers

MoH bok-24 flowers.

if you're doing roses for bouquets...i'd say most people do somewhere between 2-3 dozen roses for the bridal bouquet. if you want something extra huge, then you should do around 4 dozen.

if your bouquet has a mix of various different flowers, i'm not quite sure if you can specify the number of each flower because it may be a little harder to gauge. but i could be totally wrong!!
