How many hair trials?

Hi Girls,
Just curious, how many hair trials did you have or will you have? I had one the other day and at the time I thought I liked it and now I'm not sure. In my mind the style just needs to be tweaked a bit, or I could go in another direction altogether, but I'm not sure if it's worth another trial (with the same hair person) to put my mind at ease or just wait until the day of the wedding. I wish these things didn't cost $$!
