If I have 12 people getting hair/makeup done for the wedding, what is the rule of thumb of how many hair/makeup people are needed?

Oh, and about 6 people of those including myself are getting both hair and makeup, the other 6 are getting either hair or makeup, not both.

I would say at least 2 (maybe even 3) makeup artists and hair stylists. Ask whoever you book, they should be able to tell you how many assistants they need for a party of 12.

It really depends also what time you need to be ready by and what you are planning on doing for makeup/hair. If you are planning on going to a shop that does hair they may have 4 girls that you do hair and 2 that can do makeup at a time...so I think it depends on what you want to do and I would ask a make/hair person what they thought.

I think you need to ask your makeup and hair people themselves. My makeup lady did 6 of us in less than 2 hours. Hair, I had 2 people doing 10 of us.

I would ask the makeup and hair people. The woman doing my hair wanted to start at 8 for 7 people so I would be done on time for make up. But she said instead of starting so early I could have a second person do hair. So i'm going to have 2 people for 7 maybe 8 of us
