Re: how many halls did you see
We looked at 2 others besides the Swan Club. Jericho Terrace and Westbury Manor. Jericho Terrace didn't have our date (and didn't tell us until after we sat through everything. THEN he tried to get us to switch the date we wanted ! !) and Westbury Manor wanted to big of a minimum for us for the big room, and the small room maximum number was too small ! !
Our decision was pertty much made for us ! ! We loved the Swan Club anyway and would have probably booked with them no matter what !

Re: how many halls did you see
We looked at 8 altogether.
To the ladies who looked at only 2 or 3 - I'd really recommend seeing a few more. We originally looked at 3 and actually booked one, but then when I brought my family to see it they weren't very enthusiastic about it, so we got our deposit back (we'd put in a clause that the booking wasn't official until approved by my dad, because he's paying the bill) and kept looking, and I am SO glad that we did because I am SO much happier and more confident in my choice now, and the more I think about it and compare the two places, the more I realize how many issues there really were with the first place.
Of course, if you love it and have no reservations at all, good for you! But if you're not absolutely %100 place-of-your-dreams positive, it's worth giving a few more a look just to make sure.
