How many halls did you visit or plan on visiting before picking one???
I think I'm going to see these halls: North Ritz Club (LI) Marina del Rey (Bronx) Russo's on the Bay (Queens) and 3 in New Jersey- Florentine Gardens Nanina's in the Park Skylands Manor

FH and I went to some but they were $2,000 and up. So we found the Elk's Lodge which is $675 from 5pm to midnight on a Saturday.

Since I know I want to get married on the beach (or at least have beach access for pics) my searching is limited. We have gone to: The Bridgeview Yacht Club The Surf Club The Glen Island Harbor club (just drove by to see the ground)
We're going to: Crescent Beach club Carltun on the Bay
So not that many.

We went to one and booked...we knew that when we did get engaged that was where we wanted to get married. Made things easy.

I think I visted 1 or 2, before I picked Westbury Manor and I have NO regrets. From the first time I walked in there I feel in love with it.

We only looked at one. We fell in love with it so we didn't see a point in looking at any others.

We went to 9 watermill swan club leonards of great neck thatched cottage majestic gardens venetian yacht club sunset harbour brentwood cc woodbury cc
woodbury cc was the first one i went to and i fell in love. i had to go back to it! I love the carribean theme they do there

We went to: The Venetian Yacht Club Crest Hollow Country Club Woodbury Country Club Swan Club Jericho Terrrace and then the hall we picked: Westbury Manor

I've got 8 on the list so far...we want something different and more laid back than usual so the big glitzy ones are out for us. And we only plan to have 150 MAX. Here's our list so far:

I went to the South Shore Country Club in Staten Island (very nice) and Russo's on the Bay.
I love the SS but RB just did it for me. So we are going w/them.
