These are the times of my wedding: 7:30-8 ceremony 8-9 cocktail hour 9-1 reception
So I'm thinking 6:00-7:00 for portraits. But I also will want pre shots, getting ready, etc. I'm not sure what to tell the photographers when I meet with them in terms of starting time. What are you all doing? How many hours is you photographer booked for?
Thanks.

I booked Duet and they indicated that they wanted to be at our houses while we're getting ready all the way to the end of the reception, so I guess 12 hours +

Our photographer will be with us for eight hours. I don't want that many pre-wedding photographs.

Re: How many hours is your photographer working?
when i went to my photographer he pretty much told me when they would get there. my ceremony is at 2 and he is going to be at my house at 12, 12:15 the latest. He will be there until the end of the reception at midnight.
